Quite a few updates today including some housekeeping and removal of some dead links. The general round of updates on RFCs and IETF drafts was also done to make sure they are all the latest versions. Added some whitepapers from 2011 and a new toolkit for security assessments of IPv6.
Whitepapers and Tools Updates
A few updates to some more recent whitepapers in 2010 and 2011. Also updated and added some links to security frameworks/tools for IPv6
More Whitepapers
Clearing off a backlog of some older whitepapers that were not on the site and trying to focus on some more recent presentations.
Broken Links
There were about 30 broken links on the site to external content which should all be fixed now. Unfortunately this means some of the whitepapers have had their link removed and have been flagged as a DEAD LINK.
IETF Drafts and Whitepaper Refresh
Refresh of IETF drafts with a few additions and updates from the past 12-18 months as well as removing some duplicates. Added whitepapers from 2010, 2008, 2007 as well as some older ones.
Mirror Changes
I’ve removed the local mirrors of Whitepapers and Tools so if any link goes dead just let me know.
Whitepapers Update
More whitepapers added to the IPv6 section, two from 2006 and another from 2007 both from security conferences (HITB, RUXCON and CanSecWest).
Content Refresh
Bit of an update just to let everyone know that the site is not dead. The IPv6 secition has been updated with new content in practically all new areas. In addition to this I’ve stopped archiving messages from the pkgsrc-wip lists. I’ve done this as there are a lot better public archives of them than mine.
Coalition Summit for IPv6
Thanks to IPv6style for the heads-up on the recent Coalition Summit for IPv6. By the looks of it there were some really interesting talks and a fair few related to IPv6 security as well which I’ve now added to the whitepapers section.
Presentations Update
Added some security related presentations from the recent Global IPv6 Summit in Barcelona.
